Four Exotic Mango Smoothie Recipes
Mango is a fantastic tropical fruit, with very characteristic taste of citrus fruit – sweet, slightly citrus, when it is ripe the taste reminds of peach, with a touch of coconut flavor. Exotic Mango smoothie with banana and orange
Ingredients: (serves 2)
- 1 whole mango
- half an orange
- half a banana
- 1/ 2 cup of yogurt
- 1/ 2 of low-fat milk
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 ice cubes
Preparation: First, peel and slice the mango, banana and orange and place in a blender with other ingredients. Blend until you get a beautiful yellow mixture, pour in a glass and enjoy.
Exotic Mango smoothie with lemon and pineapple
Ingredients: (serves 1)
- 1 whole mango
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 pineapple rings
- 3 ice cubes
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
Preparation: Peel and slice the mango, cut pineapple rings into cubes put in a blender with other ingredients. Blend until you get a beautiful mixture, pour in a glass and enjoy.
Exotic Spicy Mango smoothie
Ingredients: (serves 1)
- 1/3 avocado
- 1/3 mango
- 1/2 banana
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- 1-2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed
- a little cayenne pepper, cinnamon and turmeric
- green tea (quantity depends on the desired density) or water
Preparation: Make 1 cup of green tea and leave to cool, if you’re in a hurry instead of green tea use water. Slice in pieces the fruits and vegetables and put in a blender. Add honey, flaxseed, spices and green tea (amount as desired depending upon the density of what you want). Pour in a glass and enjoy the magical taste.
Silky Mango smoothie
Ingredients: (serves 1)
- 1/4 cup mango cubes
- 1/4 cup avocado
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
Preparation: Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
